Tips sought in 2008 Kansas City, Kan., killing

Authorities are hoping that new tips can help solve the 2008 killing of a man in Kansas City, Kan.

Wednesday is the sixth anniversary of the home invasion killing of 25-year-old Jeff Rogers near 84th Street and Tauromee Avenue.

A reward of up to $9,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case. Authorities say they have received some anonymous tips, but they need more information.

Anyone with information that can be given anonymously is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
