AT&T reports U-verse service running normally
A power problem caused outages on AT&T’s U-verse broadband services network Monday that affected some customers in the Kansas City area and other parts of the country.
The U-verse service interruptions appeared to have started in the morning and lasted for at least several hours, according to reports from customers and several websites that cover the telecommunications industry.
U-verse is AT&T’s high-speed Internet and TV service.
AT&T said in its statement that technicians “worked to quickly resolve the problem,” but it did not elaborate on what prompted the service disruption.
By late Monday afternoon, AT&T reported that its U-verse service was running normally.
“We know our customers count on the U-verse service, and we apologize for this inconvenience,” the company said in its statement.
