Carondelet Health appoints interim CEO

Carondelet Health on Monday named Michael Dorsey as interim chief executive officer, succeeding Fleury Yelvington, who resigned last month.

Dorsey has served as chief operating officer of Carondelet and chief executive officer of St. Joseph Medical Center for about five years. His new duties include oversight of St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs.

The executive has more than 30 years of senior-level health care experience. He will continue to oversee day-to-day operations of St. Joseph.
