Man dead in Kansas City after fight over woman

A man was found dead around 12:30 a.m. Sunday in a home in the 8400 block of East 55th Street after police officers responded to a disturbance there.

Police said the man, about 40 years old, apparently died of a stab wound. Police took another man in the home into custody.

Witnesses said the two men were fighting over a woman.
