Northbound I-35 in southern Johnson County reopened after meat truck overturns
Northbound Interstate 35 in southern Johnson County has reopened after being closed for 4 1/2 hours when a tractor-trailer hauling meat overturned early Thursday.
The crash occurred in the northbound lanes of I-35 near West 175th Street.
The tractor-trailer went off the road about 3 a.m., got into soil softened by the rains and overturned, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department. The driver refused medical treatment.
