Man robs bank near Country Club Plaza

A man robbed the Country Club Bank at One Ward Parkway in Kansas City on Wednesday afternoon.

The man made a verbal demand for cash about 4:35 p.m. and fled on foot with cash. He showed no weapon and there were no injuries.

The man was described as black with a light complexion, in his early 20s, thin and about 5-feet-8-inches tall. He was wearing a black coat and black pants.
