Two workers killed in collapse of cellphone tower

Authorities in northeast Kansas say two people have died after a cellphone tower they were working on collapsed.

KMAN-AM reports the collapse happened at midmorning Tuesday near the Pottawatomie County town of Blaine.

County Fire Supervisor Bruce Brazzle said four people were working at the site. The two who died were on the tower when it collapsed. Those on the ground were unhurt.

Names of those killed were not immediately released. Investigators are trying to determine why the tower fell over.
