Kansas City homicide victim identified

A man found dead after a Kansas City shooting and car crash Thursday was identified Friday as Calvert Antwine.

Antwine, 32, was found dead Thursday afternoon in an SUV that crashed and rolled onto its top near 13th Street and Virginia Avenue. Witnesses told police that the occupants of another car were chasing and firing shots at the SUV before it crashed.

Police have not said if Antwine died of gunshot or crash injuries, but the case is classified as a homicide.
