KC man stabbed, throat slit in attack
A Kansas City man suffered critical injuries early Thursday when he was stabbed and his throat was cut, police said.
The incident occurred about 3:30 a.m. Thursday at 35th Street and Cleveland Avenue.
The victim and another man were involved in an argument on the street when the suspect pulled out a knife and slit the victim’s throat, according to police. The suspect stabbed the victim several more times before fleeing.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he was reported to be in critical but stable condition later Thursday.
