Two indicted in 2012 KC bank robbery
A federal grand jury on Wednesday indicted two men for a 2012 Kansas City bank robbery.
Federal prosecutors said that Kortlin D. Hughes, 21, and Samuel A. Washington, 22, are accused of holding up the Commerce Bank at 89th Street and State Line Road on Nov. 15, 2012.
According to court documents, both suspects were armed with firearms and fled with about $7,000. The car used in the robbery reportedly had been stolen at gunpoint earlier in the day of the bank robbery.
