Cause of death still uncertain in Grain Valley missing woman case

Authorities remained uncertain Monday whether foul play was involved in the death of an Oak Grove woman whose body was discovered over the weekend in Grain Valley.

Though an autopsy has been performed, toxicology results remain pending, said Dave Starbuck, Grain Valley assistant police chief.

“The case is still under investgation,” Starbuck said.

Amber Jo Bradley-Couch, 28, last was seen Jan. 19 at a country dance club in Grain Valley. She was reported missing in February.
