Police identify Kansas City shooting victim

Kansas City police have identified a man who was found shot to death late Saturday night.

Dominick Sears, 27, of Kansas City, was discovered in the driver’s seat of his pickup truck near 51st Street and Woodland Avenue about 10 p.m. when police responded to a report of gunfire.

Police on Sunday changed the description of the vehicle that a witness said fled the scene. The car they are seeking is a white 2014 Chevrolet Malibu with tinted windows and a spoiler.
