Dog walker discovers body in Grain Valley

A body found Saturday afternoon by a dog walker in Grain Valley may be that of a woman who’s been missing since January.

Grain Valley police tentatively identified the victim as Amber Jo Bradley-Couch, 28, of Oak Grove. She was last seen Jan. 19 at Whiskey Tango, a country dance club in Grain Valley. Her car was reportedly found in Blue Springs.

Bradley-Couch, who has a 4-year-old daughter, was reported missing in early February by a friend of the family, a police spokeswoman said.

Police haven’t released details on the condition of the body. They haven’t yet determined if foul play was involved.
