Minor earthquake rumbles south Kansas
A minor earthquake struck in Harper County early Wednesday morning.
The earthquake, which occurred at 4:50 a.m., measured 3.4 on the Richter scale and was centered 14 miles east-northeast of Anthony, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The independent website Earthquake-Report.com listed the quake as 5.01 kilometers deep.
Harper County is southwest of Wichita on the Oklahoma border.
The quake occurred in a rural area, and no damage or injuries have been reported.
