MoDOT aims to repair potholes within 24 hours
The Missouri Department of Transportation doesn’t want you to have to dodge a pothole more than once.
The agency is asking motorists to let it know where the jarring holes are — on state highways and routes only — so they can get to them as soon as possible.
“We want to get asphalt in the hole within a day of being notified of the repair need,” MoDOT District Engineer Dan Niec said in a statement announcing the program. “Our goal is to repair it before you drive the same road the next day.”
There are several ways to report a pothole. The Customer Service Center is available 24 hours at 1-888-ASK-MODO (888-275-6636).
