75-year-old man found shot to death inside a home in the East Bottoms

Police responding to reports of gunfire found the body of a 75-year-old man inside a Kansas City house in the East Bottoms. He was identified as Clite A. Weibel.

Police received reports of shots being fired about 11 p.m. Monday in a residence at 823 N. Kansas Ave.

When they arrived, they found the man’s body. He apparently had been fatally shot.

Police continued to investigated the the man’s death.
