Man bites man? Johnny Weir skates on charge of chomping his husband

We loved the commentary job that he and Tara Lapinksi did at the Olympics in Sochi, especially given what we now know: Johnny Weir had some pretty serious stuff on his mind at the time.

Radar Online

was the first to report that the former figure skating champion’s lawyer husband filed a police report against him about a month before the Sochi games.

Victor Voronov alleged that Johnny, 29, bit him during a domestic violence dispute.

The two were married on New Year’s Eve in 2011.

Appearing in court in Lyndhurst, New Jersey on Tuesday, Voronov asked a municipal court judge to dismiss the charges, and they were dropped.

Radar Online, which reported on the courtroom appearance, said the two men, sitting next to each other, “put on a united front.”

The website reports that Johnny, known for his flamboyant fashions, appeared in court in a subdued black ensemble. The judge reportedly took notice, commenting, “Nice hairdo!”

The couple refused comment outside the courthouse. “It is a private matter I do not wish to discuss,” Johnny told Radar.

Authorities declined to release details as well.

“It’s constant fireworks,” Johnny told “Access Hollywood” in February about his marriage. “It’s very boom, boom, boom.”

Must be.
