Infant’s body found near University of Central Missouri campus

Police are investigating the discovery of an infant’s body in a recreation area near the University of Central Missouri campus in Warrensburg.

The body was found Tuesday afternoon at Pertle Springs, a 300-acre university-owned recreation area.

No further information was immediately released. Anyone with information in the case is asked to call the university’s public safety department.
