Sarah McLachlan has announced the first leg of her Shine On Tour, and Kansas City is on it.

She will perform at Starlight Theatre on July 3, a Thursday. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. Prices: $35 to $115.

On May 6, McLachlan will release “Shine On,” her seventh studio album and her first since “Laws of Illusion” in 2010.
