Shots fired at multiple Kansas City gas stations

Kansas City police searched for gunmen firing high-powered weapons at patrons of a handful of gas stations around the city about 10 p.m. Saturday.

Police received calls that an undetermined number of men fired shots at three separate stations. No injuries were reported.

Shots were fired at service stations at Truman Road and the Paseo, 27th Street and Brooklyn Avenue, and near Gregory Boulevard and U.S. 71.

Police had no description of the gunmen and did not know how they were traveling between stations. Police did not believe the businesses had been robbed.
