Adult novelty store robbed in eastern Jackson County

A man wielding a sharp object Saturday robbed an adult novelty store in Jackson County. Police said the robber poked a female store employee in the side but didn’t break the skin.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department officials said the robber entered Erotic City, 8401 E. Truman Road, about 7 p.m. He left with an undetermined amount of money and a gun he stole while in the shop, according to authorities.

Deputies were investigating the robbery Saturday night.
