Some ATA buses to feature free Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi service will be offered on all MAX buses and 22 other Metro buses beginning this week, the Area Transportation Authority said.

The service, through T-Mobile, will allow riders to “stay connected while they are riding the Metro, whether they want to check email to get ready for the workday or just relax and surf the Web,” spokeswoman Cindy Baker said in a statement announcing the service.

Buses with Wi-Fi will have signs on board.

Riders must select “THEMETRO” among network options and accept the terms of service.
