Worker crushed in Peculiar has died

A worker crushed between a truck tractor and trailer while the rig was being backed at a business in Peculiar has died.

Police said Joshua Anderson, 29, of Adrian, Mo., was helping the driver when the accident happened about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Worldwide Steel Buildings on Missouri YY. Anderson died about 12 hours later at a Kansas City hospital.

The incident is under investigation.
