Robbery reported at OP savings and loan

Three armed men robbed an Overland Park savings and loan office Thursday afternoon, police said.

The robbery was reported about 12:20 p.m. at the Inter-State Federal Savings and Loan Association branch at 8629 Metcalf Ave.

Witnesses reported that the robbers were armed with handguns and wore bandannas over their faces, according to police. No one was injured.

The suspects may have fled in a dark blue or black Mercury Grand Marquis.
