Sprint to sell wireless speaker system for mobile phones
Sprint is selling a wireless speaker system for mobile phones under an exclusive arrangement with Harmon International Industries Inc.
The
system, which is 11 inches in diameter, goes on sale Tuesday at Sprint stores, online and via phone sales for $399.99. It uses Bluetooth technology and a rechargeable battery capable of up to 5 hours of play.
Sprint said the product launch is the first of several this year to provide premium audio through mobile devices.
