Drive-by shooting injures girl in Raytown home
An 8-year-old girl was injured by broken glass during a drive-by shooting Monday afternoon in Raytown.
Police were called to a residence in the 8800 block of East 86th Street on the shooting about 2:30 p.m. Officers arrived and found the child with a non-life threatening injury. Details of what led to the shooting were not available.
A vehicle possibly connected to the shooting was located nearby and a person was taken into custody. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
