Missouri girl, 14, found in home county
A 14-year-old northwest Missouri girl was found Monday afternoon after authorities had said earlier in the day she might be headed to Wichita, law enforcement officials said.
Megan Taylor Guffey, of Daviess County, Mo., and Jearmy J. Sanders, 17, were found about 2 p.m. in her home county, a spokeswoman for the Daviess County’s Sheriff’s Office said.
Guffey, who was last seen at 2 a.m. Sunday in Pattonsburg, Mo., was thought to have run off with Sanders, the sheriff’s office said earlier. Sanders was taken into custody.
