KCK bank robber who tried to get away on city bus pleads guilty

A Kansas City, Kan., man who robbed a bank and tried to get away on a city bus pleaded guilty Thursday in Kansas federal court.

Jamarr R. Dale, 29, admitted in his plea that he robbed the Security Bank at 10840 Parallel Parkway in Kansas City, Kan., on Jan. 2 with a note stating that he needed $3,000 “or I will start shooting.”

Leaving the bank, he boarded a bus in a nearby parking lot. Police arrested Dale a few minutes later, finding with him a “large amount of cash,” officers reported.
