On the way to Lawrence (at last): Morrissey

Morrissey, former lead singer of the Smiths, has announced his 2014 U.S. tour and it includes a performance at Liberty Hall in Lawrence on May 20, a Tuesday. (He will be in Lincoln, Neb., the night before.)

The former lead singer canceled dozens of shows in 2013, including a March 18 show at Liberty Hall, due to illness.

That show had been rescheduled from a Feb. 2 date, which had been postponed also due to illness. Ticket information for the May 20 show to be announced presently.
