Missouri Sports Hall of Fame to honor four women
The Missouri Sports Hall of Fame will honor four women during its first annual Women in Sports Luncheon on April 24 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel and Oasis Convention Center in Springfield.

Voepel, of ESPN.com, has covered women’s athletics, the Olympics and more since 1984 and is a former Kansas City Star sportswriter and editor.
Clemens coached Washington University to seven Division III volleyball championships in 14 years before retiring in 1998.
Lipira has the most total victories in all sports of any coach at Missouri Southern. She coached the Lions’ softball team during 1982-2000 and the volleyball team during 1981-87. Her 1992 softball team won the NCAA championship.
