Man pleads guilty in July attack on Metro bus driver
A Kansas City man pleaded guilty to second-degree assault Tuesday in the July attack on a Metro bus driver that was captured on video.
Lewis W. Perkins, 20, is to be sentenced in April.
Lewis beat and stabbed the 52-year-old driver on July 13 after a fare dispute. His mother contacted police after seeing her son in the video of the incident. A juvenile also was charged in the case.
