KC woman pleads guilty to hurting her 3-month-old

A Kansas City woman pleaded guilty to domestic assault Monday for injuries she caused to her then 3-month-old baby.

Abigail C. Millican, 20, was placed on three years of supervised probation.

Jackson County prosecutors charged Millican in May for allegedly tossing the baby on the bed and pulling on his arm when she was upset with her husband.

She told police she also squeezed the baby with both hands on each side of his torso and shook him while telling him to “shut up,” “just leave me alone” and “go to sleep.”
