Bank robbed near Country Club Plaza
A man robbed First Citizens Bank near the Country Club Plaza about 12:40 p.m. Thursday, authorities said.
He gave the teller a note but did not display a weapon during the robbery at 2 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd., according to the FBI.
Authorities described him as a young black man with a slender build, weighing about 150 to 170 pounds, and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a black and red scarf, khaki pants and khaki boots.
He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.
