Pedestrian killed at weigh station identified

A man killed Friday at a weigh station south of Olathe has been identified as Walter Ray Burke, 71, of Beaumont, Calif.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said Burke was between two trucks parked on the shoulder of the ramp to the northbound scale house on Interstate 35 at 8:20 p.m. when the driver of a third truck entered the ramp, lost control and struck the first truck, pushing it into the second truck.
