Homicide investigation launched after woman’s body found in burning KCK house
A homicide investigation is underway after firefighters found a woman’s body in a burning Kansas City, Kan., house.
Firefighters responded to the fire about 2 a.m. Monday in the 1300 block of Kansas Avenue.
While extinguishing the blaze, they found the woman’s body inside.
Police are not releasing the name of the victim until a positive identification has been made and family has been notified.
