Eastbound Interstate 70 reopened after accident near Odessa
Interstate 70 eastbound near Odessa, Mo., was closed before 9 a.m. Saturday for a traffic accident, apparently involving a tractor-trailer. The highway reopened later in the morning.
It wasn’t known if there were any injuries, or if any other vehicles were involved. The backup, at 9:10 a.m., was for several miles. Traffic was re-routed around the accident.
I-70 was snow-covered, according MoDOT’s traffic conditions website.
The accident took place around 8:30 a.m.
