House fire in KCK causes $80,000 in damage
A housefire in Kansas City, Kan., caused an estimated $80,000 in damage Monday evening.
The fire was reported at 8:19 p.m. at 1030 Rowland Avenue. All occupants of the house escaped and there were no injuries.
Firefighters were forced to take a defensive posture against the fire after the building showed signs of collapse.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
