KC contestant Nikki Ferrell’s 'negativity' causes stir among ‘Bachelor’ contestants

warned you

that Nikki Ferrell, the Kansas City contestant on “The Bachelor,” was rumored to bring the cattiness this season.

This week, the claws finally came out.

After the 13 remaining contestants packed their bags and headed to Seoul, South Korea, Ferrell and five other girls were chosen for the first group date.

“All I do is see him in a group setting. And I don't thrive in a group setting,” Ferrell complained. “This blows. I'm halfway around the world and I'm going to spend the day tomorrow with five other girls who are quite annoying.”

As if the date group wasn’t bad enough, the Children’s Mercy nurse was not too thrilled to find out the date would consist of dancing on stage in front of thousands of people with the Korean pop group 2NE1.

“This is my worst nightmare,” Ferrell said. “ I would rather be performing for the South Korean school of the blind.”

The Kearney native put on a brave face, though, and danced awkwardly in the back before finally heading to the evening portion of the date. The other girls, however, were not impressed with her attitude.

“Nikki is the most negative person in the house,” Elise said.

“The cattiness is starting and it's mostly Nikki who is doing the talking,” Cassandra said.

It’s Juan Pablo who has the final say (although he doesn’t say much), and Nikki got the rose in the group date.

“I think everybody hates me now,” Nikki said. Our Spidey senses tell us you’re on to something, Nikki.

Sharleen got the one-on-one date, and receives a rose after tasting weird food and displaying her opera chops for Juan Pablo.

“Sharleen and I have so much in common,” Juan Pablo said. We’re still waiting to figure what, exactly, that is.

The final date, with the six remaining girls, included some bad Korean karaoke, eating more weird food, paddleboats and a fish pedicure.

Juan Pablo decided out of respect for his daughter, he was not going to kiss anyone on the date. Was it the octopus, Juan?

Contestant Lauren won the award for most awkward moment of the night with a painful attempt to kiss Juan Pablo which was rejected.

He made an exception for Clare, the Sacramento hair stylist, because her “teeth and lips” were too attractive to pass up.

At the end of the date, Andi the prosecutor stole the show by receiving the group date rose.

Finally, at the rose ceremony, nurse Nikki ruffled more feathers by stealing Juan Pablo from Clare, even though she already had a rose.

“I just thought it was rude and disrespectful,” Clare said.

“You're one way with the girls, and one way with him,” Clare later told Nikki, who wasn’t having it.

“Clare is threatened by me,” Ferrell said.

Juan Pablo sent Elise and Lauren packing, and told the remaining girls to pack their bags for their next stop: Vietnam.

Let the battle for Juan Pablo continue.
