Grammy fashion: A night without pop

Lots of pretty dresses walked down the red carpet Sunday night, but nothing made us “Roar.”

Where were the memorable moments? Think Jennifer Lopez in a cut-down-to-there green Versace at the 2000 Grammys.

Last year, CBS told Grammy performers and nominees to tone down their clothes. And, judging from the conservative-as-the-Oscars choices Sunday, we suspect the same rules applied this year. Until the women stripped down inside for their performances, that is.

Yawn. Wake us when the MTV awards get here.
