Man critically wounded in shooting at 39th and Jackson in KC
Someone shot a man twice in the abdomen at 39th Street and Jackson Avenue early Sunday.
A friend of the victim drove him to a hospital after the 1:15 a.m. shooting. The victim remains in critical condition.
A tavern and a convenience store are located at the intersection. A park and vacant lot are across the street.
