Authorities seek help in finding 4-year-old Missouri girl

Officials are asking for public assistance in locating a 4-year-old girl who has been missing from Rolla, Mo., since Monday.

Cassandra weighs about 40 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. She has an eye infection and requires medicine. Cassandra was last seen wearing a gray zippered shirt with a Hello Kitty logo.

Cassandra Robertson is believed to be with her mother, Nikie Robertson, who has a history of suicidal tendencies and substance abuse, according to an endangered person advisory distributed by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Robertson, 39, is described as 5-feet-6-inches tall and 145 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

Officials believe the mother may be headed to Las Cruces, N.M., or to Colorado. They may be traveling in a silver 2006 Nissan Quest with Missouri plates FG2D5J.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department at 573-426-3860.
