KC man accused of fatally shooting another man in July

Jackson County prosecutors have charged Lasalle L. Bradley, 26, in connection with the fatal shooting of Lefea Holden in July during an argument, according to court records released Thursday.

Three witnesses identified Bradley, of Kansas City, as the man who shot Holden, 29, early July 13 near 41st Street and Garfield Avenue. The witnesses said Holden collapsed in the intersection, and Bradley stood over him and continued firing until the gun was empty, according to court records.

Prosecutors charged Bradley with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in December but kept the case sealed while officers looked for Bradley. Police arrested him Tuesday night.
