Unemployment benefits delayed in Kansas

The Kansas Department of Labor says some technical difficulties have delayed unemployment benefits.

Department spokeswoman Barbara Hersh told WIBW that full unemployment payments should be on recipients' debit cards by 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The labor department said on its website that the technical difficulties occurred at the Unemployment Insurance Contact Center but it provided no further explanation.
