Fire damages Kansas City, North apartment building


Firefighters were called to a fire early Tuesday morning that damaged a Kansas City, North, apartment building in the 600 block of N.E. Windrose Drive. No injuries were reported and the fire cause is under investigation.

A fire early Tuesday damaged a Kansas City, North apartment building.

No one was injured in the blaze reported just before 6 a.m. at the Woods at Windrose Creek apartments in the 600 block of N.E. Windrose Drive.

Arriving firefighters found fire coming from the third story of an apartment building in the complex, which is near Missouri 152 and North Oak Trafficway. The fire was brought under control about 6:15 a.m.

The cause of the fire was being investigated.
