Munday on Monday: Too busy
Too busy
When someone complains of the tasks left to do,
Decrying “a thousand” of things not yet through;
And somebody else who is busier still
Will carp that “a million” of tasks fill the bill;
Yet both are mere sluggards compared with the chap
Who’s facing “a billion” of chores to attack.
But I will exceed them — so busy am I —
“A skillion, a jillion” of things is my cry!
The folly we share: We’d have time without straining…
If only we’re doing instead of complaining.
