Kansas City woman killed in crash Sunday identified

A Kansas City woman who was killed in a two-vehicle collision early Sunday has been identified.

Brittani Dixon, 26, died in the accident, according to local media reports.

The accident occurred about 4:00 a.m. at 23rd Street and Hardesty Avenue, when a black Ford passenger car driven by Dixon and a green Jeep SUV collided in the intersection. Dixon died at the scene.

A man riding in the Ford, along with two men in the Jeep, were transported to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The accident remained under investigation.
