KC police: Missing mother, daughter have been located

A Kansas City mother and daughter reportedly missing since Wednesday have been found safe, police announced about 7:15 a.m. Friday.

They had asked Wednesday night for the public’s help finding Nicole J. Nelson, 27, and her 2-year-old daughter, Dajahnay J. Nelson.

Police did not release details on where the two had been since they left home Wednesday.
