Traffic closures cancelled Tuesday night for I-35 and I-435

Traffic closures planned this week near the Interstate 35 and 435 interchange in Johnson County were cancelled for Tuesday night.

The closures started Monday and were planned througout the week, as crews were to close ramps in the area so that temporary asphalt and barrier work could be completed.

The ramp closures were cancelled for Tuesday night, leaving ramps from eastbound and westbound I-435 to northbound I-35 open.

Other work and traffic closures remained scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday nights.

The ramps from eastbound and westbound I-435 to southbound I-35 will be closed at 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. They will reopen at 5 a.m. the next day. During the closures, traffic will detour north on I-35 to the 95th Street interchange to access southbound I-35.
