Deadly accident reported in Kansas City near I-29 and Cookingham Drive

At least one person was killed Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident near Interstate 29 and Cookingham Drive, near Kansas City International Airport, police said.

The accident was reported about 4:30 p.m. No traffic closures were reported in the area an hour after the accident.
