Glenn Beck posts bathroom selfie, mocks Geraldo’s half-naked Twitter pic
It’s the battle of the self-portraits this week.
In this corner: Geraldo Rivera, naked from the waist up in the photo that has people on the Internet yacking (and gagging).
In the other: Glenn Beck, fully clothed, in the bathroom, taking a picture of himself with his iPad.
Who’s hotter?
The 49-year-old Beck posted his bathroom shot in response to Rivera’s much-debated half-naked selfie, posted over the weekend with the caption, “70 is the new 50.”
Rivera took the photo down, later tweeting: “Note to self: no tweeting after 1am”
He said in a radio interview on Monday that he posted the picture after “a couple of drinks” and that the first to react to it was his 18-year-old daughter, who tweeted: "TAKE THAT TWITTER DOWN RIGHT NOW."
Beck posted his photo on Sunday. In it, he’s clothed like he’s heading to the North Pole – jacket, sweater, scarf, cap, with a bathroom towel wrapped around his waist.
Beck tweeted: “Okay 40 isn't 70. But still - check out my bathroom towel pic! Sorry ladies I just can’t turn this off!”
Some people like Beck’s photo better. Tweeted one of his followers: “At least I didn't want to dig my eyeballs out with a spoon with your bathroom selfie!!"
